Philadelphia poets will share the love of their work at venues around the city on Philly Poetry Day, April 9th, as a way to expose a larger audience to poetry. One such venue will be an open air reading in Fairmount Park on Forbidden Drive outside of the historic Valley Green Inn from Noon – 2 p.m.

If you are traveling from the East (Chestnut Hill) the Inn is at the bottom of Valley Green Road at Forbidden Drive. From the West (Roxborough) the Inn is at the bottom of Wises Mill Road at Forbidden Drive.Screen Shot 2016-04-06 at 10.38.27 PM
