  1. It is such a strange space of time as our generation of rockers pass. I always enjoyed Tom Petty’s music, and will, like many others, continue to do so. So happy that Tom did not take it with him.

    Loved Tom Petty, first saw him and the Heartbreakers at Knebworth Festival in June 1978 – blew everyone else away. Listening to American Girl as I write, is music that has really stood the test of time, still seems so fresh. A sad loss.
